Embassy of Spain in the United States
The Embassy of Spain in the United States is the main Spanish diplomatic representation before the U.S. federal authorities. Its functions include the institutional representation of Spain, the protection of Spanish interests, the promotion of bilateral relations and the overall coordination of the Spanish consular network in U.S. territory.
Alongside the Embassy, Spain has a network of Consulates General in the United States, as well as a Consular Section in Washington. These offices provide services to Spanish citizens and, in certain cases, also process applications and documents for foreign nationals who need documentation or authorisations related to Spain.

In relation to visa procedures for Spain, Yabogados handles legal matters connected with spanish visa refusals, the review of unfavourable decisions and the study of possible appeals against administrative decisions adopted by Spanish authorities abroad. This type of assistance may be especially relevant when a visa to travel to, reside in, study in, reunite with family in or carry out an activity in Spain has been refused, and it is necessary to assess whether the decision is sufficiently reasoned, whether the submitted documentation has been properly evaluated or whether there are legal grounds to challenge the visa refusal.
